  1. This one’s for the patent folks. For all you non-patent folks, this cartoon is humoring a recent case (Bilski v. Doll) that the Supreme Court has agreed to hear. It relates to what does and does not constitute patentable subject matter.

  2. To be more specific, it will review the Federal Circuit’s “machine or transformation” test – hence the PTO’s “evidence”. Very subtle!
